About the Artist

Richard Croft has a BA in Fine Art from Loughborough University, his work has been bought and is on permanent display at Plymouth University and his work has been in galleries in London and now where he lives in the South West.

 

Richard Croft uses an IPad Pro and Apple Pencil to hand draw his digital work, these are then printed and signed.

The work reflects the different interests of the Artist, the Modern Art pieces that have a mythical, pop culture, architectural elements constructed to invite the viewer to personalise what the scene means.

There are purely abstract works for his love of colour, form and design and then the actual real world scenes.

Detail, colour, world building, the weird put with the everyday, patterning are constant themes in the work.
